Located at 10943 De Soto Ave, Chatsworth, CA 91311, Paradise Nursery operates as a plant nursery serving Chatsworth in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Chatsworth, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in California, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Chatsworth is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Chatsworth is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. 2 stars just because they grow amazing fruit. However, I think the owner and their son both need to first grow kindness, love, and respect in their heart before they grow anything else. It’s sad—they have amazing plants but zero morals and social skills. I don’t recommend this place because of the lowest level of customer service you can get. One time, I bought a tree and some flowers, and within 10 days two if them died. They didn’t take any responsibility or show any concern. The next year, I went back because they had a rare tree variety, and I was driving from another city—not Los Angeles. Very special Persian varieties they have, but they were disrespectful to me again. The son said he wouldn’t sell me a tree because I didn’t have a van, which sounded very unprofessional. He even criticized me for not bringing a gardener with me to buy a small tree. I felt really upset—he just walked away from me. Another worker eventually helped me, and I had no choice but to buy from them because no one else had the Soure plum tree I was looking for. Still, I felt very disrespected. The ironic part is that both trees easily fit in my SUV.

I bought nice fruit trees from many years ago. That's why I drove 40 miles one way." BEAWARE" Don't trust what the worker says. I asked for 3 meyer lemons. Justin sold them as the receipt indicated meyer lemon. When came to plant it, noticed the tag on the tree was Asian Citrus tree. Their prices are not cheap either!! THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS AWFUL.

We went to Paradise Nursery to look for a couple of citrus trees. Although they weren’t ready quite yet, we were met with a lot of gardeners and staff members who asked if we needed help with anything else and gave recommendations on what this nursery specializes in. Their quotes are reasonable for delivery services and they have a good team. Tanner, who works the front office, is apparently a sage expert, so go to him for super friendly advice on those types of plants. We’ll be coming back to pick out our trees and recommend our own clients to come out here to shop for mulberry and citrus plants.

The only nursery that sells their specialty, Balang Citron and many other rare hard finds. Great customer service and attentive to your questions and needs.

I bought a 5ft Royal Lee Cherry Tree at Paradise Nursery on Oct 08; and on Oct 16, I saw a small brown creamy bird eye spot on this tree. I sent an email to their staff to ask for what I should do. And then I got two phone calls from Dylan (Paradise Nursery) to guide me through how to cure the tree. Thanks for their excellent customer services, my Cherry Tree is growing well now. .
